  1. Firstly, take a mat and unscroll it on the floor.
  2. Now, stand straight on the front of the mat.
  3. Make a posture by joining both hands like in a prayer posture.
  4. Close your eyes and try to make a balance.
  5. Then chant the first mantra of Surya namaskar.

HASTAUTTANASANA

~OM RAVIYAY NAMAH~

  1. Now from pranamasana posture raise your hands from sideward to above your head.
  2. Maintain this posture for a while and bend your back to form a C-shape posture.
  3. Hold the position for at least 5 seconds.
  4. Then come to the pranamasana position by the same procedure as done above.

PADHASTASANA

~OM SURYAY NAMAH~

  1. From the hastauttanasana position lean forward and touch your feet.
  2. If you are unable to touch then don’t force yourself just do as much as you can.
  3. When you can touch your feet then try to bend your back more and touch your head to the knees.
  4. After that, you can touch your stomach to your knee by keeping one thing in mind.
  5. Never bend your knees while performing this asana because it can cause some major troubles.

ASHWA SANCHALANASANA

~OM BHANVEY NAMAH~

  1. From padhastasana extend your left leg back to its full extent and keeping your toe outward.
  2. Put your right feet exactly between your hands and trying to widen your chest.
  3. Keep your toe and knee touched to the ground.
  4. Now look upward and slightly widen your shoulders.
  5. Make sure that your palm should touch the ground.

PARVATASANA

~OM KHAGEY NAMAH~

  1. From ashwasanchalan posture
  2. Put your both hands on both sides of your chest.
  3. Join your both feet and raise your middle body to make a mountain-like posture.
  4. Stretch your back while it is up and try to put both heels on the ground.
  5. Hold the posture for a minimum of 15 to 20 seconds.
  6. Don’t put too much stress on your body.

ASHTANGA NAMASKAR

~OM PUSHNEY NAMAH~

  1. From parvatasana posture lie down and touch your chest to the ground.
  2. This is also known as 8 joint poses because in this pose we touch our 8 joints to the ground.
  3. Keep your toes, knees, chest, hands, chin, touched to the ground, and other parts above ground.
  4. Put your hands aside chest and take normal breathing.

BHUJANGASANA

~OM HIRANGARBHAY NAMAH~

  1. From ashtanga namaskar posture raise your upper body and make a c- curve from it.
  2. Stretch your toes outside and your full lower body should touch the ground.
  3. Keep your elbow bend and shoulder relaxed.
  4. Try to look backward by fully stretching your back.
  5. Take normal breathe and hold the position for a minimum of 10 – 12 seconds.

PARVATASANA

~OM MARICHAY NAMAH~

  1. From bhujangasana posture raise your middle body.
  2. Join your both feet and raise your middle body to make a mountain-like posture.
  3. Stretch your back while it is up and try to put both heels on the ground.
  4. Hold the posture for a minimum of 15 to 20 seconds.
  5. Don’t put too much stress on your body.

ASHWA SANCHALANASANA

~OM ADITYAY NAMAH~

  1. From parvatasana posture put your right leg forward in between your hands and keeping toe to another leg outward stretch.
